3 of 5 Purchased on amazon can't get it to work January 5, 2020

Bought this awhile ago finally set it up to realize the brush contactor rotor had a open line in it. So I fixed that bit still no power can't find much info online. Product seems well built and spins like crazy missing out on alot of power. Could the control box have been damaged by single phasing?

5 of 5 PowerHouse turbine! March 5, 2017
Reviewer: Belinda Davis from United States
I have been running mine for about a month now, I run it in unison with my solar array. I run a 48v system 2 banks of 8 6v trojan batteries. I have a magnum 100 amp mppt solar charge controller and 4600 watts of panels. I run a 12000 watt (yes that is a 12k) 240v Aims Inverter. Ther inverter alone consumes 200w just to feed itself. I live in an area of AZ that has consistant 20-30 mph winds. I added this turbine and cant be more pleased. On windy nites i can run my 1500w electric heater and still have almost full battery power in the mornings. I did have an issue with my controller i purchased to go with it so for now i run it mainly in the evenings under constant load and have a manual dumpload setup that is a water heater with dual 48v. 1000w elements. when i switch the output to the dumpload it is enough to keep the turbine under control even in 30+ mph winds. I had purchased a coleman air 10000 watt controller and it fried the instant i pressed the EDM test button. This is a long s

5 of 5 Pleased with this wind generator November 17, 2014

I am very pleased with the unit.  I've had it up and running for about 2 months now. It starts charging the batteries at around 8 MPH and the most wattage I've seen was 2600 watts in a 25 MPH wind. I'm waiting to see what it will do in a 30 MPH wind, though I am expecting to see 3000 watts out of it. It seems to be built very solid, and I don't doubt it could survive a 100 MPH wind. At first I thought the tail was not adjustable, but it is. I've even considered buying another unit.  There are a lot of opportunities in wind energy to not get good results, so I would recommend having a good understanding on the subject before making the purchase.
