5 of 5 I am happy with the life of this abrasive disc! February 3, 2016
Reviewer: Ron S. from United States
I like to build furniture for our home out of reclaimed lumber and also like to re-purpose old pieces of furniture into new styles which involve lots of sanding! I have tried many, many types of sandpaper and have found you normally get what you pay for. This Aleco Brand 6” Hook and Loop sandpaper is at the high end of quality! These 240 grit sanding discs are made to fit five inch hook and loop style powered sanders. Like I was said, you get what you pay for... the first sign of quality is that this has a coated abrasive for longevity. The backing attaches firmly to my 6” pneumatic D/A sander, The next test that I like to do is see how flexible the abrasive is and how well it is attached to the backing. So, I fold the paper in half to see if the abrasive cracks. The Aleco sandpaper passed that test! (please see the photo) I then used it to sand a piece of redwood. It quickly removed the saw blade marks from the wood quickly without any abrasive plugging.
